LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – Officials from the Las Vegas City Police Department Convention Center helped rescue two dogs trapped in a car on Friday morning.
According to a post by LVMPD Capt. Dori Koren, the two dogs were left without food or water at 115 degrees heat.
“Fortunately, we got there in time,” tweeted Koren.

In a follow-up post, Koren said the dogs had been in the car for about four hours before being rescued by officers.
Our focus is on dangerous situations, like in this case, the car was off, there was no food or water, it was 115 degrees and the dogs were in for about four hours. Fortunately, we reached them before they were seriously injured.
