The NFL preseason is astoundingly approaching, and with it fans of all NFL teams can check out the match-ups their teams are facing this season.
The Las Vegas Raiders are no exception as they will have a number of marquee games ahead of the 2021 schedule.
Now that all of the major Raiders defense skill players have been examined this season, it’s time to move on to the big boys on the offensive.
For the # 1 offensive line, the Raiders will face this season, the Cleveland Browns will be a familiar challenge after the Raiders defeated them last season.
Even then, the Browns were the team to make the playoffs, heavily on the strength of the league’s best offensive line last season.
It isn’t even considered such a big debate, especially since four of their five starters are placed in the top 10 of their position on the Pro Football Focus rankings.
Correct tackle Jack Conklin, a 2020 free agent addition, delivered dividends instantly and delivered its second all-pro campaign last season.
Left Tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. didn’t have a high overall PFF rating, but ranked 26th out of 75 qualified tackles for pass blocking.
Inside, Center JC Tretter and guards Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller enjoyed all of their career years.
Although Teller missed five games, he was ranked a top guard in the NFL according to the PFF, driven by the league’s top run-blocking rating.
Bitonio continued his constant game in Cleveland and has now been ranked one of the top five Guardians for two of the last three seasons.
Tretter also continued his solid game and took second place among the centers last year, the fifth time in the last six years he was in the top 10.
They’ll all be returning for the Browns next season, and with the Raiders defensive having to travel to Cleveland in the cold in December, this could be the toughest challenge of the season.
