Sports Illustrated’s Raider Maven brings the latest information on upcoming Raiders opponents for the 2021 NFL season.

Last year, the Las Vegas Raiders traveled to Cleveland in week 8 and prevailed in one of the ugliest weather games of last season.

For the 2021 season, the Raiders will travel back to Cleveland and take on the Browns in week 15.

Sports Illustrated All Bengals’ James Rapien, who also covers the Browns on 92.3 “The Fan”, joined us on the Pritch & Clay morning show with host Hondo Carpenter, editor and publisher of Sports Illustrated’s Raider Maven Raider Nation Radio (LINK TO LIVE LISTENING) and gave us the latest information on the Browns.

“Stefanski has brought professionalism and stability to the entire organization,” said Rapien.

First year head coach Kevin Stefanski flipped the franchise in its first season.

Together with Browns’ General Manager Andrew Berry, they have both built a great team on both sides of the ball.

You keep improving on the offensive. The Browns previously added Jack Conklin’s leadership and proven track record to an established O-line.

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are a two-headed monster in the running back position; The highly anticipated return of Odell Beckham Jr. adds another weapon to quarterback Baker Mayfield.

“It brings stability in the sense that the ground is much higher in the quarterback position in Cleveland,” Rapien said of Mayfield’s quarterback stability that the Browns haven’t had in decades.

In defense, the combination of Jadeveon Clowney and Myles Garrett will worry many teams.

This team doesn’t have a lot of weaknesses, and with a lot of talent on both sides of the field, winning the league is still not preferred; the ravens are.

As Rapien said, the upper limit for the Browns this season is AFC North’s win and 12-13 wins.

The floor doesn’t look bad to the Browns; They still make it to the playoffs and finish the season with at least 10-11 wins.

The Raiders will have a tough matchup against the Browns this season in hopes of becoming another great matchup with lots of playoff complications late on the schedule.
