For the 15th consecutive year, MGM Resorts International will sponsor this year’s 24th Annual Las Vegas PRIDE Parade, which will be held in downtown Las Vegas on October 8th.
The celebration is the largest annual LGBTQ + event in Las Vegas, hosted by the Southern Nevada Association of PRIDE, Inc. (SNAPI). The events will take place from October 8th to 9th. Fittingly, this year’s theme is “Together Again”, as last year the COVID-19 pandemic kept everyone apart and the 2020 parade was only virtual.

As an annual PRIDE Parade sponsor since 2003, MGM Resorts continues to celebrate and support the LGBTQ + community. Company employees are expected to attend and march along with a cart created by MGM Resorts Event Productions.
“We are honored to come back together this year to celebrate with the LGBTQ + community,” said Tony Gladney, vice president of national diversity relations at MGM Resorts International. “As we look forward to a more diverse and inclusive future, we will also continue to align with the needs and priorities of the communities in which we operate. Together we can do better, and the PRIDE parade in Las Vegas is the perfect example of that. “
The parade pre-show begins at 6:00 p.m. on the main stage, located at the intersection of 4th Street and Bridger Avenues in downtown Las Vegas. The parade itself begins at 7:00 p.m., with the parade route starting on Gass Avenue and heading north along 4th Street to Ogden Avenue.

As a company, MGM Resorts has been a pioneering supporter of the LGBTQ + community since 2004 when it was the first gaming and hospitality company to offer same-sex health care to its employees and the industry’s first to hold same-sex engagement ceremonies in its chapels. Since then, it has excelled as a vocal advocate of LGBTQ + human rights and a significant contribution to nonprofits that serve the LGBTQ + community.
In 2011, the company took the additional step of expanding its supplier and construction company diversity programs to include LGBTQ + owned businesses. In 2021, for the 10th time in a row, the human rights campaign gave MGM Resorts the perfect score of 100 and also named it one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” in the US
