Wynn and Encore Las Vegas have both opened two exciting new restaurant concepts.
Delilah, a lavish new supper club in the Wynn, is located in the old Alex restaurant area. The very chic 1920s-inspired restaurant features the Little Bubble Bar with seating for 34 guests with comfortable round high leopard-covered chairs that feel like individual sofas, an Art Deco-inspired interior, champagne chandeliers, celebrity cartoons along the wall and many signature cocktails. The bar looks out onto the huge dining room below. Attention Instagramer, the Supper Club has a “No Photo Policy” that we were told several times, but were allowed to take photos for this article.
Walk down the twin stairs that lead to a sprawling dining room with brass palms in the center, inspired by the Copacabana. The main dining room features lots of silk, velvet, wood, and brass with zebra inlay, handcrafted plaster of paris ceiling segments, ebony inlay on the walls, vintage cubist art, and tables with malachite inlay. There is also a small stage that hosts a small band and often surprise appearances by celebrities, with entertainment on Sundays reserved for a five-piece jazz band.
For al fresco dining, the restaurant has two courtyards with magnolia trees and twinkling lights. There’s also a secret Chef’s Table for high rollers and celebrities who value privacy.
The Delilah serves modern American cuisine and offers many delicious dishes such as Wagyu Beef Wellington, smoked salmon and caviar, surf and turf with short ribs and scallops and fish and chips. The drinks are also a big draw with beautiful, unique presentations and innovative flavors.
Wynn also recently opened the new Overlook Lounge, which serves aperitifs, cocktails and spirits in a rich European atmosphere. The Cocktail Hideaway sits above the Lake of Dreams and serves special libations inspired by the most famous figures in fashion, film, history and mythology.
Encore also has a brand new edition of its extensive selection of restaurants. Casa Playa, a Mexican coastal concept of authentic dishes and cocktails, is now located next to the Encore Beach Club.
Executive Chef Sarah Thompson, Wynn Resort mixologist Marlena Mercer Boarini and agave expert Noah Arenstein have teamed up to offer guests an authentic Mexican coastal experience.
Casa Playa, designed by Wynn Design and Development, whisks guests away to a Mexican haven with bright colors, two cascading marigold installations, and a mix of festive patterns and textures.
The menu features freshly grilled seafood recipes, including Mexican blue prawn ceviche, yellow fin tuna tartare, seafood towers, tostada with black truffle, duck confit tamale, octopus in coloradito mole, cauliflower al pastor, branzino with adobo, whole yucatan chicken with Roasted carnitas and a surf and turf with Wagyu Carne Asada, lobster, chorizo and short ribs.
Later in the evening, enjoy live entertainment with changing DJs.
The cocktail program includes margaritas, tropical mixed drinks and a wide range of mescal and tequila options.
The Delilah at Wynn is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and dinner starts at 10:30 PM. The Overlook Lounge is open Sunday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. Casa Playa in Encore is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.
