The NoMad Restaurant, the other of the top dining at NoMad in Park MGM, is changing its name to NoMad Library and will reopen on Friday July 2nd, spreading COVID-19. The NoMad Hotel and Park MGM reopened as smoke-free resorts in September.

Guests can order chef Michael Rellergert’s dishes, such as Madison oysters, served chilled with mignonette and fried rockefeller; Scallops with minestrone, Garganelli pasta, runner beans, chickpeas and lemon verbena; or filet mignon encrusted with bone marrow fried with asparagus, miso and bordelaise sauce. The NoMad Roast Chicken is filled with foie gras, black truffle, and brioche, while American Wagyu Prime Rib is carved on the table side.

The restaurant has more than 20,000 volumes of books on the shelves of the three-story library, inspired by the Royal Portuguese Reading Cabinet in Rio de Janeiro, known for the largest collection of Portuguese texts. Inquisitive guests can even find the late philanthropist David Rockefeller’s personal collection, acquired at auction. A spiral staircase as well as a fireplace, an antique carved wood mantle imported from France, and a set of custom three-tier chandeliers from London’s Dernier-Hamlyn decorate the room filled with burgundy velvet chairs and banquets and emerald and mahogany.

The NoMad’s sister restaurant, the NoMad Bar, is open Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to midnight and Sunday from 5pm to 10pm 10

The NoMad Library is open Friday through Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. For reservations, call 702-730-6785 or go online.
