LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – When you go on vacation next week, you should be prepared for what is likely to be a very busy day of travel.
Officials say parking at the terminals at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas was full. Capacity has been full for a few weekends.
For this reason, the staff recommend taking even more time than normal when planning to park at the airport. The recommendation is usually two hours before your flight, but airport spokesman Joe Rajchel said travelers might want to add an extra hour.
“As more people travel, as vaccines become more available, the mandate has been lifted in some areas, more people are comfortable traveling and going to their loved ones,” said Rajchel. “Probably for the first time in a long time. So we expect it will be busy this holiday season.”
