Psycho Las Vegas says the status of Emperor, Watain, Mayhem, Satyricon, MGLA, Crippled Black Phoenix and Cult Of Fire at the 2021 festival will be finalized until August 2nd

Psycho Las Vegas announced that they will announce the participation status of European acts like the Norwegian metal band Emperor and Swedish black metal band Watain In the 2021 edition of the music festival, on August 2nd. Other legal acts whose status will be made known are: chaos, Satyricon, MGLA, Crippled black phoenix and cult of fire. The music festival went on Instagram on July 26th to reveal the news.

All seven musical acts had received visas and permits to travel to the 2020 edition of the festival. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival had to be postponed until this year. While all bands have re-applied for and approved their travel visas, the official status of the band’s ability to travel to the US is still unclear due to US travel restrictions in Europe. Therefore, the bands must be given legal permission to travel to the states.

The music festival has also announced that their performances will be postponed to 2022 if the bands cannot attend this year’s festival. In return, other musical acts will replace their slots in the 2021 edition of the festival.

“While travel restrictions continue to apply to much of the world, exceptions are granted for international artists on a case-by-case basis,” said the festival’s Instagram post. “Everyone is involved in this process from European embassies and artist management to local government officials petitioning on our behalf to our attorney here at Psycho who has worked tirelessly on the process.”

Refunds are available to all ticket holders from August 2nd. More information about the festival and its line-up can be found at vivapsycho.com.
