As the delta variant of the COVID-19 virus rages across the world, uncertainty begins about what was once seemingly safe music events. Unfortunately, Psycho Las Vegas is one of the first victims. The festival announced that despite the revamped line-up, almost none of the international acts seem to be able to participate. This includes bands like Emperor, Watain, chaos, and Satyricon.
Psycho Las Vegas is sure to announce if these bands can make it to the festival on August 2nd.
“Before the global shutdown, visas were for Emperor, Watain, chaos, Satyricon, MGL, Crippled black phoenix, and Cult of Fire over Psycho’s immigration team. After we were sure that we could move the festival forward in 2021, visas were reapplied for and approved for all of the above bands.
“While travel restrictions remain in place for much of the world, exemptions are granted on a case-by-case basis for international artists. This is a process that involves everyone from European embassies to artist management and local government officials.” petitioning on our behalf, and our attorney here at Psycho who has worked tirelessly on this process. Please note that all artists, their teams and the entire psycho crew are doing everything possible to get these bands to the festival in August.
“With this in mind, we are giving ourselves until August 2nd to assess whether these artists can travel to Psycho Las Vegas in 2021 or not. We are in the final stages of implementation – visas are being approved, but we have to “Due to the US travel ban from European countries, every artist is granted an exemption to travel here. Those who cannot receive this exception will postpone their appearance until 2022. And although there is no comparable substitute for any of the affected artists, additional acts will be added to this year’s bill.
Refunds will be available for all ticket types and tiers starting August 2nd. Ticket buyers will be contacted by email with a simple one-click option for a full refund.
“For those of you who ride with us, we can’t wait to see you next month. For those of you who can’t, we hope to see you in 2022.”
Psycho Las Vegas 2021 takes place August 20-22 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. At the moment this is the current line-up.
