LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – The Las Vegas Raiders and members of the organization continue to influence the community. The Raiders have partnered with Three Square Food Bank to bring Thanksgiving meals to 600 families in southern Nevada.

“There will be 600 families who, thanks to the Raiders organization, will not have to worry about where to find a feast. Today we’re handing out produce, turkey, and all the Thanksgiving side dishes you need for a holiday meal, ”said Kate Gaines, director of development at Three Food Square Bank.

This is the third year in a row that the Raiders organization has partnered with Three Square Food Bank to distribute meals to families in Las Vegas.

Gaines said, “It’s no surprise that an organization like the Raiders has helped in times of need. They have been there from the start, have been here throughout the pandemic, offering help in every possible way. It’s great to have her on our team. “

The event took place in the Allegiant Stadium from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Former Raider and Hall of Famer Rod Woodson says, “The Raiders are excited to come over here to Las Vegas and have this Thanksgiving Sweepstakes. They are handing out over 600 meals to families in need around the Vegas area. I think it is is important to give something back to you fan base and families who are currently struggling. “
