Registration for the Las Vegas Great Santa Run is now open! The race is returning to downtown Las Vegas in its 17th year with a new hybrid format, offering runners around the world two ways to support the Opportunity Village: a full-capacity in-person race on December 4, 2021, or a virtual race This can be completed anytime between December 4th and 26th, 2021.
Interested participants can register now at LVSantaRun.com. The prices are as follows:
- Now through July 31, early bird rate of $ 25 per person
- August 30th to September 30th: USD 35 per person
- October Race Day: $ 40 per person
Race day personal celebrations include a fun pre-show on the Fremont Street Experience, starting at 8 a.m. From there, take the 5k or 1mile route and cross the finish line into the Llama Lot for the after-party with a variety of food trucks, vendors, and live entertainment!
With their paid registration, runners and walkers for personal and virtual runs receive a medal, a start number, a swag bag and a Santa suit (while stocks last). Pets are always welcome – simply register them when registering and they will receive their own goodie bag! We encourage all attendees to continue supporting Opportunity Village by raising funds for the non-profit organization and letting friends and family attend the event with you.
The internationally recognized Las Vegas Great Santa Run raises funds and raises awareness of Opportunity Village’s programs and services that provide unparalleled opportunity, enrichment, and support for over 3,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Opportunity Village is also bringing back the pet costume contest this year and will announce the details later this summer as they prepare for the 17th annual event.
