LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Resorts World Las Vegas will open the first store in a Las Vegas resort to use Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, according to its press release.

On July 26th, Resorts World Las Vegas welcomes guests to experience Fred Segal Market with Just Walk Out technology. The Fred Segal Market offers a special range of drinks, sweets, snacks, souvenirs and Grab & Go groceries in one place next to and connected to the Fred Segal Men’s Shop.

“We are excited to partner with Resorts World Las Vegas as they provide a quick and convenient way for their customers to purchase the items they may need quickly during their resort stay,” said Cameron Janes, vice president of Physical Retail at Amazon. “We’re excited that Resorts World Las Vegas is bringing the hassle-free checkout-free experience to a new city and industry for the first time through the Fred Segal Market by selecting Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology.”

Shopping at Fred Segal Market, powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, is designed to be a hassle-free experience. Guests simply enter the market with a credit card and the technology detects what shoppers are taking off or returning to the store’s shelves. When guests have finished their shopping experience, they can simply leave the store and their credit card will be charged for the items they took away.

Fred Segal Market, powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, will open to the public on July 26th.
