Koloko said his mother traveled to the US earlier this week and was traveling to the Main Event games with a cousin and sister Stephanie.

Christian said his mother planned to see him for the first time in the 2019-20 postseason, which was scrapped ahead of the NCAA tournament due to COVID closure, and couldn’t travel last season for the same reason when UA fans and Family members were not allowed to attend games.

The way he presented himself on Friday, sophomore UA Guardian Pelle Larsson would not have looked out of place on the undercard of Saturday’s Terence Crawford-Shawn Porter bout in Mandalay Bay or perhaps in a UFC match of some sort .
Larsson played more minutes on Friday due to a foul problem with starting overseer Dalen Terry and fell to the ground under the basket in the first half, only to drop the 2.70 meter, 260 pound Oumar Ballo on his right leg. Larsson grabbed his knee in pain and stayed on the floor for a moment, but continued playing.
Later in the first half, Larsson’s head crashed under the basket against Kerr Kriisa’s shoulder and again Larsson stayed on the floor, this time blood-washed from the floor, when he finally left.
