Virgin Atlantic has announced that it will resume transatlantic flights in the coming weeks. following the upcoming easing of US travel restrictions.
The airline’s Heathrow-San Francisco route will be the first to resume tomorrow (October 2nd), followed by flights from the London hub to Orlando and Las Vegas in November.
Virgin will also resume flights from Manchester to Orlando and New York starting next month. Bookings to the US have risen by over 600 percent in the past week, the airline said.
As previously reported, Virginia’s Heathrow-Orlando route will be the first to include the airline’s reconfigured A350 aircraft, which will feature a smaller full-size cabin, more economy seats and a new premium social space called The Booth ” feature.

Virgin will also launch its new route to St. Vincent on October 13th. a service originally planned for June.
and the airline’s Heathrow-Bahamas route is scheduled to start on November 20th.
Virgin also said it would start offering flights between London and St Lucia from December 18 – the airline discontinued service to the Caribbean island nation in 2019, which led to a number of comments from our readers.
