LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Vice President Kamala Harris’s visit to Las Vegas was brief, but her message was focused – more people need to be vaccinated and the bipartisan infrastructure framework is vital.
“There are 28 bridges in this state in poor condition, 1,000 miles of road in need of repair,” she said.

“It would be the largest long-term infrastructure investment in our district in 100 years. That would create a lot of jobs, ”she said.

Harris’ stop in Las Vegas, which began when Air Force Two touched down at 11:17 am on Saturday, is on the government’s nationwide tour of America’s Back Together to pay tribute to the nation’s efforts to recover from the pandemic .
Harris spoke about the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and urged people to get vaccinated.
