Get ready Las Vegas. The city’s newest resort is less than a month away from opening. The US $ 4.3 billion Resorts World Las Vegas hotel is slated to open on Thursday, June 24, 2021.

The property has been under development since 2013, breaking ground in 2015, with Resorts World being the first brand new casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip since the Cosmopolitan opened in 2010.

Will there be a Resorts World Las Vegas poker room? Fortunately, the answer is a resounding yes. Resorts World will have a special poker room with high-limit areas. Details on the number of tables, games or stakes have not been released. There was no confirmation for the daily tournament offers at the poker room Resorts World Las Vegas.

Other Las Vegas poker rooms have removed plexiglass partitions and many poker rooms are now returning to nine-handed play. Therefore, the poker room at Resorts World Las Vegas is not expected to have plexiglass partitions.

In February 2020, it was announced that Resorts World Las Vegas will be partnering to launch a multi-brand Las Vegas resort.

This new iteration will accommodate 1,774 guest rooms and suites ranging from 400 to 3,300 square feet. The Las Vegas Hilton aims for a comfortable and refined ambience with a contemporary yet luxurious feel.

Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World

The Conrad Las Vegas offers 1,496 guest rooms and suites between 550 and 2,800 square feet and was designed by KNA Designs. The hotel features curated artwork specially commissioned for Resorts World Las Vegas.

These works of art can be found in public areas as well as on the walls of many guest rooms.

Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Hilton’s new luxury brand LXR will house the largest and most luxurious rooms in the resort. With 236 ultra-luxurious rooms, suites, villas and palaces ranging from 550 to 7,000 square feet, these rooms were designed by the same architect for the Resorts World as a whole.

The Crockfords Las Vegas offers an exclusive entrance and a large lobby for a luxurious private check-in experience as well as a VIP pool and a 24-hour concierge.

Resorts World Las Vegas construction

Resorts World is owned by the Genting Group. Founded in 1965, Genting operates resorts in the Americas, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the Bahamas and attracts over 50 million visitors annually.

The groundbreaking for the project took place in 2015. Designed by Steelman Partners, work on the hotel and casino began in late 2017 and should open in 2020.

However, in 2018 a lawsuit was filed by Wynn Resorts alleging that Resorts World and the Wynn / Encore hotels share similarities. The two parties settled their dispute in January 2019, with Genting agreeing to a number of design changes related to the project.
